Protect yourself against scams

A scam is a fraudulent scheme that tricks people into giving away personal information, money or goods. As the world becomes more connected online, scams are becoming more common — so it’s important to stay alert.

This translated summary sheet provides practical tips on protecting your personal information, being cautious when meeting people online, recognising investment scams, avoiding common traps, and finding help if you think you’ve been scammed.
